POSITION
DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the CEO and the Operations Manager, the Business Plan Consultant is responsible for providing strategic advice to StartupHQ’s clients regarding their business plans & pitch decks and helping them research, define and write all parts of their business plans & pitch decks.
This position includes day to day interaction with StartupHQ’s clients to provide consulting services and help them write a successful business plan & pitch deck.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
✓ Provide clients with strategic advice on all Business Plan/ Pitch Deck related questions
✓ Research, writing and synthesizing market information for Business Plans/ Pitch Deck
✓ Industry-specific research and benchmarking
✓ Helps StartupHQ create relevant blog posts and other marketing content
✓ Edits & maintains StartupHQ website (no coding knowledge necessary)
✓ Completes all other consulting & research tasks that may be assigned
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Passionate about entrepreneurship, startups, business models and conducting industry research with a focus on small businesses.
Excellent financial modeling skills, solid understanding of financial statements and translating the business model in a financial spreadsheet.
Very organized and neat with computer files and document layers, savvy business knowledge about entrepreneurship with an industry specific focus.
Experience with customer service and passion and patience for coaching and advising clients, great communication and professional client interaction skills.
